There is nothing like a new baby. Tiny fingers and toes, and that new baby smell is just so sweet! They are so tiny in the very beginning, but grow and change so quickly. Capturing this magical phase of life is so important!
By booking a Newborn Session with me you will be able to remember all the details of baby's first few weeks for a lifetime. These photos will become priceless memories for the whole family.

Days 7-10 are ideal for Newborn photos. Babies are still very sleepy and this makes them easier to photograph for the sleepy newborn photographs that parents love.
However, I photograph older babies all the time so If you have missed the 7-10 day window- we will still get beautiful photos.
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SESSION?
Think neutral colors and comfort! Once you book a session, I will email you a Style Guide for the whole family. It covers what to wear as well as tips on preparing your family and your home so that you get the best photos possible.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Newborn Photos are typically done in your home. I schedule them on weekday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Babies are usually happiest in the mornings, and the lighting is ideal.
what location should i choose?
Once you reach your second trimester, it's time to book! I only photograph a small number of babies each month, so don't wait too long to reach out.
If your baby has already been born, you can still reach out. I sometimes have last minute openings and can squeeze you in!

I serve families in Birmingham, Alabama and surrounding areas.
do you travel?
Newborn Sessions are $350. They include up to 90 minutes of shooting time and an online gallery of at least 30 retouched digital images for you to keep. Print options are also available.
